| Schilling on Senate run: ‘It’s on the fence’ | 09.18.09 at 3:57 pm ET |
Speaking on the Dennis & Callahan Show, Curt Schilling said he is still undecided in regards to running for the U.S. Senate seat previously occupied by the late Ted Kennedy. Schilling said his decision will come down to how it affects his family, having been assured by “people in the Republican party” that raising finances for such a campaign won’t be an issue. Schilling also talked about Wednesday night’s Red Sox win, Jason Varitek’s future and the importance of Alex Gonzalez.

I’d love to see him in the Senate! What a step up from who he would be replacing. By the way where can we get a DVD of the 2004 Ford commercial?

I remember a Red Sox fan on NESN commenting that if Curt ran that he hoped he wouldn’t be some Republican guy they wouldn’t like.
Nothing like taking the time to actually listen to the issues eh? Way to go Blue State known as Massachusetts.
I think he would get elected anyway honestly …

You should run Curt! We need a bit of a reality check given the one-sided tip to the left and nothing we can do to change that right now!

You should indeed run. It is not a matter of opposing political views, it is simply that good people need to become the new foundation for the Republican Party. A “non-politician” based Senator would be exactly what is needed. The rules of a fairness would translate seamlessly from your sports career to a career in the Senate.
