| ‘Caffeine’ drink???? | 08.14.09 at 12:25 pm ET |
I was made aware of some comments made by Bronson Arroyo this past week as it related to a “caffeine” drink I recommended to him a few years back.
Here it is, if that drink nails you as a positive, then so would water.
It won’t, and it hasn’t.
FWIW the taste isn’t all that bad, it gets better the more you take it and it does help a hell of a lot with sleeping through the night.

A caffeine drink that helps you sleep? Not sure how that works. I don’t sleep any better when I’ve been chugging coffee all day.
Or is it something in conjunction with all the travel/crazy hours during the season?

Mr. Schilling,
Yes I AM a die-hard Yankees fan and I have a question for you. According to a couple of articles, it seems that your view on players that have been caught “cheating” has changed. I understand that Ortiz was your teammate but why isn’t he getting the same harsh remarks as the rest? You feel that every stat should be erased from the period of time that the player has been caught cheating but when it comes to Ortiz you say “That’s for you to decide. It seems to be an area of immense debate, but I am not sure how this could/should/will be resolved.” Couldn’t you have said the same thing about guys like Clemens and Bonds? By the way, this is not in any way meant to be a wise crack or anything, I am a fan of baseball and I just wanted to know the reasoning behind the conflicting quotes. Here is my source for all of the comments. http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/messages/chrono/16445590
Hope you’re having an awesome retirement,
Faiaz

Hey Curt, I know you liked Jason, but he not hitting as well as he was when you where playing. I personally think he is a good catcher, but he dont got like what he use to had. He cant catch the guys stealing anymore. he lose power that he once had. I also think you should try become redsox pitching coach i think the players their would love that..

I hate the pain in the ass redsox fans fans who comment here. Yes I am a Redsox fans too but nobody wants to here Curt’s opinion about last nights game. Just because he sucked up 10 million from the Red Sox in 08 and didn’t throw one pitch doesn’t mean he cares.
